<\/p>\nDAILY POST had reported that Sowore, the convener of Revolution Now Protests against Buhari government, was picked up at his apartment in the early hours of Saturday.<\/p>\n
The politician raised the alarm in a distress tweet at exactly 1:25 am which reads, \u201cDSS invades Sowore\u2019s apartment.\u201d<\/p>\n
Later he added another tweet which could be a confirmation that his phone must have been seized while trying to raise the alarm about his arrest.<\/p>\n
Reacting, Suleiman called for the release of AAC presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS.<\/p>\n
He, however, condemned the planned revolution, describing it as undemocratic.<\/p>\n
Apostle Suleman on his verified Twitter page wrote: \u201cI Heard about the planned \u2018revolution\u2019 protest for August 5 or so, I condemn it. Revolution is \u2018forceful overthrow of govt\u2019 and it\u2019s not democratic.<\/p>\n
\u201cSowore has been arrested, though he has written so much rubbish about me, I call for his immediate release please.\u201d<\/p>\n
Also, Fani-Kayode, reacting described Sowore\u2019s arrest by DSS as unnecessary and unkind.<\/p>\n
On his Twitter page, Fani-Kayode wrote: \u201cThe arrest of Yele Sowore is uncharitable, unkind, unecessary, uncalled for, unsustainable, indefensible and regrettable<\/p>\n
