The Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara has suspended indefinitely, four students over an alleged illegal possession of guns within the institution\u2019s premises.<\/p>\n

Among the four suspended students are two final year students.<\/p>\n

The four students were caught with the fire arms by Security Operatives during the institution\u2019s Cultural day celebration held on Thursday 18th July, 2019.<\/p>\n

The school authority said they have been handed over to the police for further investigation.<\/p>\n

The Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Adeyinka Adeleke in a telephone chat with DAILY POST confirmed the report saying, \u201cIt was about two weeks ago that the incident occurred.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Delta State Polytechnic, Oghara confirmed the suspension of the students in the school\u2019s bulletin signed by its Registrar, Dr. Benson Omonode.<\/p>\n

A copy of the school\u2019s bulletin was obtained on Sunday wherein the Registrar, Dr. Benson Omonode gave the names of the suspended students to include Ogbekhilu Collins (HND II, Mechanical Engineering), Oghenede Godbless (HND II, Elect-Elect Engineering), Agbagbara Ernest (ND 1, Regular 2, Industrial Engineering) and Omare Andy (ND II, Regular 1 Business Administration and Mgt.)<\/p>\n
