Christian Pulisic has urged Chelsea fans not to compare him to Eden Hazard.<\/p>\n

The USA international has been earmarked as a direct replacement for the 28-year-old, who ended his seven-year spell with the Blues this summer, when he completed his dream transfer to Real Madrid.<\/p>\n

Chelsea spent \u00a358m on Pulisic in January, but loaned the 20-year-old back to Borussia Dortmund for the second half of last season.<\/p>\n

He made his bow as a second half substitute in Friday\u2019s surprise 1-0 defeat against Kawasaki Frontale and made several promising contributions.<\/p>\n

But Pulisic has warned his new fans they may need to be patient before they see the best of him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not here to compare or anything.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously Eden was amazing and he did so well for this club, as you could see last season and the whole time he\u2019s been here. He was an incredible player.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor me, it\u2019s coming in as my own player, proving myself and doing the best I can to help this team.<\/p>\n

\u201cRight now it\u2019s going in and helping the team whatever way I can. It\u2019s just bringing an intensity into the training first of all and earning respect in the beginning.<\/p>\n
