<\/p>\nThe appointment of Oyewamide, a correspondent with the Daily Independent newspaper in Ondo State takes immediate effect.<\/p>\n
Also, Akeredolu has approved Mr. Dapo Aruwajoye as his Senior Special Assistant on Broadcast Communications.<\/p>\n
This was contained in a press statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Segun Ajiboye.<\/p>\n
The statement partly reads, \u201cThe two appointees are graduates of English Studies of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.<\/p>\n
\u201cOyewamide started his career as a Journalist with the then Comet Newspaper.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe also had a brief stint with National Mirror before joining Daily Independent Newspaper as the Ondo State Correspondent before his appointment.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe is the current chairman of the Correspondents Chapel, State Council of the NUJ.<\/p>\n
The statement added that \u201cAruwajoye, who also holds a Masters Degree in Media and Globalisation from the Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom, was Press Secretary (Electronics) to Governor Akeredolu.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe had worked in Channels Television and Continental TV before joining the governor\u2019s media team.<\/p>\n
