{"id":136221,"date":"2019-07-16T11:34:32","date_gmt":"2019-07-16T10:34:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=136221"},"modified":"2019-07-16T15:04:43","modified_gmt":"2019-07-16T14:04:43","slug":"what-buhari-should-do-with-obasanjos-latest-letter-shehu-sani","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=136221","title":{"rendered":"What Buhari should do with Obasanjo&#8217;s latest letter &#8211; Shehu Sani"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Shehu-Sani-speaks-on-Buhari-govts-plan-to-create-Ruga-settlements-in-States.jpg\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Human rights activist, Senator Shehu Sani has thrown his weight behind Olusegun Obasanjo\u2019s open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari which raised concern over the prevailing security challenges currently bedevilling the country.<\/p>\n<p>The former lawmaker, while appreciating the content of the letter on Tuesday, advised that the President should not use Obasanjo\u2019s letter as a toilet roll, but should rather clip it near the dressing mirror.<\/p>\n<p>Sani tweeted: \u201cThe messenger is not surely handsome but the message is a Bell and a compass.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObj and Baba knows each other more than anyone knows about them.<\/p>\n<p>DAILY POST had reported yesterday that former president Obasanjo released an open letter to President Buhari where he drew the attention of the setting president on the need to address the numerous security challenges facing the country.<\/p>\n<p>Part of the letter read, \u201cI am very much worried and afraid that we are on the precipice and dangerously reaching a tipping point where it may no longer be possible to hold danger at bay.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe main issue, if I may dare say, is poor management or mismanagement of diversity which, on the other hand, is of our greatest and most important assets. As a result, very onerous cloud is gathering.
