Arsenal forward, Alex Iwobi, has said that the four teams in the semi-final of the 2019 African Cup of Nations are all favourites to win the trophy.<\/p>\n

Nigeria will clash with Algeria in one of the semi-final matches while Tunisia take on Senegal in the other game.<\/p>\n

Iwobi said that Nigeria\u2019s preparation for the game against Algeria on Sunday has not been affected by the fact that many view the Super Eagles as favourites for the title.<\/p>\n

The Arsenal star is cautious about getting carried away.<\/p>\n

\u201cNormally you have to ignore and not pay attention to it,\u201d Iwobi said in his interview with BBC Sport.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a hard one to say. There\u2019s still Algeria, Senegal and Tunisia. All four of us are capable of winning. We\u2019ve all got quality players. I wouldn\u2019t know who\u2019s the favourite at this point in time.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven though we were able to win two games in the group stage, it wasn\u2019t the greatest performance but sometimes you know you don\u2019t have to play well to win games.<\/p>\n

\u201cAgainst Cameroon and South Africa I\u2019d say we\u2019ve done well, we dug deep. But it\u2019s not the end, we have to continue against Algeria, we are very confident as we are able to beat the holders and a team that beat the hosts.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt gives us the confidence but we will stay with a bit of humility and hopefully go on and win the game.\u201d<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
