Ivory Coast legend, Didier Drogba, has reacted after Algeria dumped C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire out from the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Egypt on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Sofiane Feghouli had given Algeria a 1-0 lead in the first half before Jonathan Kodjia equalised for Ivory Coast in the second half as the match eventually ended 1-1 after 120 minutes.<\/p>\n

However, the North Africans defeated the West Africans 4-3 on penalties to qualify for the semi-final, where they will take on the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Reacting, Drogba said that he was proud with Ivory Coast national team despite their defeat to Algeria.<\/p>\n

The Chelsea legend tweeted: \u201cShots on goal do not always reflect the quality of a player. I\u2019m proud of you, my younger brothers.<\/p>\n
