Former Chelsea striker, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, has criticised the team\u2019s performance in Frank Lampard \u2018s first game in charge.<\/p>\n

The Blues were held to a 1-1 draw by Irish side Bohemians.<\/p>\n

Lampard was hoping to begin on a winning note, but an Eric Molloy goal in the 89th minute, cancelled out Michy Batshuayi\u2019s opener.<\/p>\n

Hasselbaink, who netted 88 goals in 177 games in all competitions for the Premier League outfit, was far from happy with what he saw.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey lost the ball way too easy.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlayers were having too many touches, sometimes seven, eight touches and it slows the game down.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt will be a lesson for Frank to see players and in a way it will make his mind up.<\/p>\n

\u201cMoving the ball fast is his idea of how he wants to play the game.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe majority of successful teams do move the ball quickly.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe saw today, especially in the second half, certain players were dwelling a little bit too much on the ball.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey didn\u2019t have a solution before they had the ball.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt might be that it\u2019s pre-season, it might be that they\u2019re not fit yet and it will come.<\/p>\n
