Nigeria and Arsenal legend, Nwankwo Kanu has urged Nigerians to pray and support the Super Eagles ahead of their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, quarter-final fixture against South Africa on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

He also expressed confidence that Gernot Rohr\u2019s men are ready to beat the Bafana Bafana at the Cairo International Stadium and to make Nigerians proud.<\/p>\n

The 42-year-old disclosed this in a video posted on his official Twitter page on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Nigeria head to the game after defeating AFCON defending champions, Cameroon 3-2 last weekend while South Africa defeated the host nation, Egypt 1-0.<\/p>\n

\u201cNigeria vs South Africa. You know what it is,\u201d Kanu said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know what to do Nigerians. Keep supporting the Super Eagles.<\/p>\n

\u201cPray, support and believe. The Super Eagles are ready. They are going to make Nigerians proud.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need everyone to be part of this. Keep supporting our dear team the Super Eagles to victory.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kick-off time for the match is 8pm.<\/p>\n
