<\/p>\nThis comes amidst the backdrop of several allegations emanating against pastors and religious leaders in the country.<\/p>\n
Pastors in Nigeria have been in the news for the wrong reason of late, with Biodun Fatoyinbo of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, the most recent one.<\/p>\n
Reacting in a sermon on Friday night, Adeboye warned pastors against hiding under the guise of grace to sin.<\/p>\n
He was quoted as saying, \u201cI feel compelled to say some things to those that are young and up and coming ministers.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat I want to say is from the Bible: There is nothing hid that shall not come to the open or made manifest. Mark 4:22
\n\u201c2. Sooner or later, your sins will find you out if you continue in sin under the guise of grace. Numbers 32:23<\/p>\n
\u201c3. Abstain from every appearance of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:22.<\/p>\n
\u201c2 Timothy 2:22. When you find yourself facing youthful lust,flee; don\u2019t say you\u2019re highly anointed or something, ask Samson.You may say I\u2019m old fashioned, I agree.I\u2019ll never have a private secretary who\u2019s a woman. When a woman accuses you of something, nobody will listen to you whether you\u2019re right or wrong; be wise!<\/p>\n
Adeboye\u2019s statement has since stirred reactions from a cross section of Nigerians on social media<\/p>\n

Rather than say this, a Pastor should admonish women to not lay false claim against men, as well as admonish men to not abuse women. It is \u201cwise\u201d to keep both men and women in check.\u201d<\/p>\n
