<\/p>\nThis was revealed in a press statement by the state JISIEC chairman, Alhaji Muhammad Ahmad, issued to DAILY POST in Dutse.<\/p>\n
He said the election, which was conducted among seventeen different political parties, was peaceful and in accordance with state electoral guidelines of the commission.<\/p>\n
He also thanked political parties, security agencies, election observers for their contributions towards the peaceful conduct of the election.<\/p>\n
Below are the list of the elected local government chairmen:<\/p>\n
Auyo local government
\nUmar Musa of APC won the election with 40,074, votes
\nYusif Abdullahi of UDP scored 2,056<\/p>\n
Buji Local Government
\nHudu Babangida of APC won the election with 43,125 votes,
\nSanusi Ilu of UDB scored 2,245 votes<\/p>\n
Hadejia Local government
\nAbdullahi Mai Kanti of APC won the election with 42,134 votes,
\nMusa Muhammad of NPC scored 440 votes<\/p>\n
Kaugama Local government
\nAhmed Yahaya Marke of APC won the election with a 35,730 votes,
\nAdo Haruna Abbas of PDM scored 1,772<\/p>\n
Gwiwa Local government
\nSale Ahmed Zauma of APC won the election with 35,608 votes,
\nAdamu Ibrahim Adamu of NCP scored 57 votes<\/p>\n
Sule tankarkar local government
\nJafaru Muhammad of APC won the election with 37,472 votes,
\nAbdullahi Iliya of AD scored 78 votes<\/p>\n
Babura local government
\nMuhammad Ibrahim of APC won the election with 40,374,
\nIsyaku Lawan of UPN scored 54 votes<\/p>\n
Dutse Local government
\nBala Yakubu Yargaba of APC won the election with 79,920 votes,
\nJibrin Alhaji of ACD scored 680 votes<\/p>\n
Gagarawa Local government
\nIbrahim Ya\u2019u of APC won the election with 29,887 votes,

Miga local government
\nMuhammad A Abba of APC won the election with 41,235 votes,
\nIsa Koli Muhammad of NCP scored 521 votes.<\/p>\n

\nDauda Dan Auwa of APC won the election with 26,258

\nJamilu Awaisu Zaki of APC won the election with 36,930 votes
\nMansir Tafida of NCP scored 661<\/p>\n
Ringim local government
\nAbdulrashid Illa of APC won the election with 35,113 votes
\nIsa A Musa of Fresh party scored 1,368 votes<\/p>\n
Taura Local government
\nBaffa Yahaya Taura of APC won the election with 30,436
\nBashir Majia of AA scored 354 votes<\/p>\n
Maigatari local government
\nSani Dahiru of APC won the election with 30,234 votes
\nYusif A.Falanke of labour party scored 699 votes<\/p>\n

\nMagaji Inuwa of APC won the election with 69,971 votes.
\nRabiu Shehu of Accord party scored 1,083<\/p>\n
Gumel local government
\nAminu Sani of APC won the elections with 25,684
\nFaruq Abdullahi of LP scored 699.<\/p>\n
Kirikasamma local government
\nSalisu Garba Kubayo of APC won the elections with 37,089 votes
\nUmar Hamza Jiyan of AD scored 1104.<\/p>\n
Birnin Kudu local government
\nWada Faka of APC won the election with 119,180 votes, Abdulhamid Muhammad scored 2324 votes.<\/p>\n
Roni local government
\nSalisu Sani of APC won the election with 27,270 votes<\/p>\n
Meanwhile the major opposition Parties in the state, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and Social Democratic Party, SDP have described the election as the worst ever in the country.<\/p>\n
DAILY POST reports that the major opposition parties had accused the state electoral body of denying them right to participate in the election.<\/p>\n
Jigawa state North Central PDP Vice Chairman, Alhaji Aminu Jahun accused the state election body, JISIEC of preventing his party from fielding candidates for the local government election by refusing to sell nomination forms to their candidates.<\/p>\n
Also Social Democratic Party SDP state chairman Alhaji Abba Anas Adamu had also accused the state electoral body of irregularities in process of the election.<\/p>\n
He said the act was meant to denied other opposition parties an opportunity to participate in the election.<\/p>\n
But the Jigawa state electoral commission denied the allegations, saying all political parties were carried along in the entire electioneering processes and had no right to claim that they were sidelined.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
