The All Progressives Congress (APC) has debunked news that it had \u201cappointed\u201d remaining principal officers in the 9th National Assembly.<\/p>\n

Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, APC National Publicity Secretary, said it was false and should be disregarded.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn arriving at party decisions and indeed in all our activities, we have always been transparent, ensuring the best democratic principles are adhered to in whatever steps we take\u201d, it said.<\/p>\n

\u201cConsultations are ongoing and in our typical style, we will come out to formally announce the party\u2019s decision on the appointments.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the prevalence of fake news, we urge the media to always wait for and rely on official statements from the party other than unofficial sources.
