Madagascar coach, Nicolas Dupuis, has hailed his players after they defeated Nigeria 2-0, in their last Group B fixture at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.<\/p>\n

Lalaina Nomenjanahary pounced on Leon Balogun\u2019s slip in the 13th minute, to give the debutants a shock lead.<\/p>\n

The Eagles came out fighting in the second half, but Carolus Andriamahitsinoro made it 2-0 and all but ended the encounter as a contest.<\/p>\n

It means Madagascar finished top with seven points, while the Super Eagles ended up with six points.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was excited by the draws and we were really happy to have the opportunity to play against such a big team like Nigeria.<\/p>\n
