Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, on Sunday night said he will not speak on the 2019 Ballon d\u2019 Or, after his side defeated Netherlands 1-0 in the UEFA Nations League final.<\/p>\n

The 34-year-old is widely expected to compete with Liverpool\u2019s Virgil van Dijk and Barcelona\u2019s Lionel Messi for this year\u2019s Europe top individual award.<\/p>\n

Daily Star reports that in a footage, the Juventus superstar was asked by one reporter during his post-match press conference to give his view on who will win the 2019 Ballon d\u2019 Or.<\/p>\n

But the former Real Madrid star quickly walked away, saying: \u201cNo, I will not speak about the Ballon d\u2019Or.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Ronaldo\u2019s comment has since generated a lot of comments on social media.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe doesn\u2019t want to talk about it because he won\u2019t win it,\u201d one supporter said.<\/p>\n

Another fan commented: \u201cNot the favourite to win it this year.\u201d<\/p>\n

While a third added: \u201cThree words: Virgil van Dijk.\u201d<\/p>\n

DAILY POST had reported that Cristiano Ronaldo led Portugal to defeat Netherlands 1-0 in Sunday\u2019s final to claim the trophy.<\/p>\n
