{"id":125220,"date":"2019-06-10T17:50:50","date_gmt":"2019-06-10T16:50:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=125220"},"modified":"2019-06-10T17:51:03","modified_gmt":"2019-06-10T16:51:03","slug":"32-year-old-adebo-ogundoyin-emerges-oyo-assembly-speaker","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=125220","title":{"rendered":"32-year-old Adebo Ogundoyin emerges Oyo Assembly Speaker"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/BREAKING-32-year-old-Adebo-Ogundoyin-emerges-Oyo-Assembly-Speaker.jpg\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">A 32-year-old member representing Ibarapa East State constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Mr. Adebo Ogundoyin, has emerged Speaker of the House.<\/p>\n<p>Ogundoyin, a second term lawmaker, emerged as the Speaker shortly after the Governor, Mr. Seyi Makinde inaugurated the Assembly on Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Ogundoyin came to the 8th Assembly last year after he won the by-election which was held after the death of the former Speaker, Mr. Michael Adeyemo who died on Friday, 27th April 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Ogundoyin, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) also won the March 9th House of Assembly election and got elected to the present 9th Assembly.<\/p>\n<p>He emerged unopposed with a unanimous voice vote of the 32 members Assembly.<\/p>\n<p>DAILY POST reports that the new Speaker is an alumnus of Babcock University.<\/p>\n<p>He is an Agronomist by profession.<\/p>\n<p>Adebebo Ogundoyin is one of the sons of the late foremost philanthropist and industrialist, Chief Adeseun Ogundoyin, a native of Eruwa in Oyo State.<\/p>\n<p>The new Speaker is a football lover and fan of the Red Devils \u2013 Manchester United.<\/p>\n<p>He lost his father, Adeseun Ogundoyin, in 1991 as a teenager.\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A 32-year-old member representing Ibarapa East State constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Mr. Adebo Ogundoyin, has emerged Speaker of the House.
