Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp, has disclosed that he spoke to Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola on the phone following his side\u2019s Champions League final 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday night at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid.<\/p>\n

Goals from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi ensured Klopp\u2019s men won the Champions League ahead of Tottenham.<\/p>\n

Klopp said that he and Guardiola both promised each other that they will challenge again next season for all the trophies.<\/p>\n

\u201cA second ago I spoke to Pep Guardiola on the phone,\u201d Klopp was quoted by Express UK as saying.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe promised each other that we will kick each other\u2019s butts again next season. We will go for everything and see what we get.\u201d<\/p>\n

Klopp added: \u201cGetting 97 points in the Premier League and winning the Champions League is an unbelievable long way to go and we did it. That\u2019s incredible.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur head physio (Lee Nobes) worked for Manchester City at the start of the year but he wanted to win the Champions League\u2026 no, it\u2019s a joke!<\/p>\n
