{"id":122970,"date":"2019-06-02T13:43:54","date_gmt":"2019-06-02T12:43:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=122970"},"modified":"2019-06-02T13:53:27","modified_gmt":"2019-06-02T12:53:27","slug":"how-woman-killed-her-1-year-old-baby-in-enugu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=122970","title":{"rendered":"How Woman killed her 1 year old baby in Enugu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/2019-UTME-Police-warn-students-over-malpractice.jpg\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">The Police Command in Enugu State has begun investigation into an alleged killing of a one-year and five-month-old baby by her mother in a community within the state.<\/p>\n<p>The Command\u2019s Public Relations Officer, SP Ebere Amaraizu, said in a statement on Sunday in Enugu that the incident happened on May 30.<\/p>\n<p>Amaraizu noted that the ugly incident took place at Amankanu village in Amuri community within Nkanu West Local Government Area of the state.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the woman identified as one Ijeoma Nnaji, 30, allegedly killed her daughter identified as Chiemerie Nnaji over a yet-to-be established reason.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was, however, gathered that the body of the child was now deposited at Agbani General Hospital morgue.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe state Commissioner of Police, Mr Sulaiman Balarabe, has directed a full scale investigation into the incident which has begun at the state Criminal Investigations Department of the command.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe suspect is helping in the investigation so far,\u2019\u2019 the police spokesman said.\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Police Command in Enugu State has begun investigation into an alleged killing of a one-year and five-month-old baby by her mother in a community within the state.
