\u201cIt will be a shameful thing if we ended up not going for this match, and I hope those in charge will do something before this embarrassing thing happens to Kogi United.\u201d<\/p>\n
DAILY POST on Sunday also gathered that, the team in the last six months have not received their monthly salary as they have been executing their current Nigeria National League Matches on empty stomach.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are heading towards the seventh months now without a penny from the state government. This is an act of wickedness. Sincerely speaking, we have been playing some matches now with garri in our stomach.<\/p>\n
\u201cMost of us now are debtors. We buy food on credits and many players are now laughing stock in the state.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur players can\u2019t walk freely on the street because they are ashamed of humiliation,\u201d the source added.<\/p>\n
