{"id":120550,"date":"2019-05-25T12:14:57","date_gmt":"2019-05-25T11:14:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=120550"},"modified":"2019-05-25T12:15:14","modified_gmt":"2019-05-25T11:15:14","slug":"ekiti-apc-fayemi-knew-i-was-robbed-pdp-candidate-eleka-reacts-to-supreme-court-ruling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=120550","title":{"rendered":"Ekiti: APC, Fayemi knew I was robbed &#8211; PDP candidate, Eleka reacts to Supreme Court ruling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Ekiti-APC-Fayemi-knew-I-was-robbed-PDP-candidate-Eleka-reacts-to-Supreme-Court-ruling.jpg\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the 2018 Ekiti governorship election, Prof Kolapo Olusola Eleka, has congratulated Governor Kayode Fayemi on his victory at the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n<p>He, however, said Fayemi and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) knew he was robbed.<\/p>\n<p>Eleka urged the governor to focus governance in the true sense of it without bitterness.<\/p>\n<p>While thanking Ekiti people for standing by him, Eleka said, \u201cMy consolation at this time is that the people of Ekiti, as well as Fayemi and the APC knew I was robbed and God being God, the true story shall be told someday by those who orchestrated the theft.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe least expectations of Ekiti people from Fayemi and APC now is that they should reduce the people\u2019s pains by governing well so the people do not suffer double loss having now lost their mandate freely given.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI urge Ekiti people to maintain peace and keep hope alive, adding that everyone including himself will cooperate to move Ekiti forward as the state is greater than any individual.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am committed to Ekiti, I am going nowhere but will work side-by-side with my people until Ekiti is delivered from clutches of mindless and heartless vampires and election riggers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI call to all true lovers of Ekiti that time for a broad coalition to free Ekiti from those mortgaging its interests and destinies to outside forces has come. I am prepared to play my part and together we shall win.
