{"id":120485,"date":"2019-05-25T11:46:56","date_gmt":"2019-05-25T10:46:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=120485"},"modified":"2019-05-25T12:02:50","modified_gmt":"2019-05-25T11:02:50","slug":"five-injured-as-another-building-collapses-in-onitsha","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=120485","title":{"rendered":"Five injured as another building collapses in Onitsha"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Five-injured-as-another-building-collapses-in-Onitsha.jpg\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Five persons on Friday sustained severe injuries in another building collapse in Onitsha, Anambra State.<\/p>\n<p>The decked attachment of the building located on No. 44 Modebe avenue, Odoakpu in the commercial city of the state, reportedly caved in around 2.30pm.<\/p>\n<p>The incident is coming less than 24 hours after a three-storey building collapsed in the same area, leaving five persons dead and three others rescued with varying degrees of injury.<\/p>\n<p>Although, no life was lost in Friday\u2019s incident but five females were said to have sustained injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Confirming the incident, the Chairman, Red Cross Society in Anambra State, Prof. Peter Katchy said the casualties have been moved to Leeds hospital for intensive care.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is no death recorded. Five persons injured; all females are now admitted at Leeds Hospital at Modebe Avenue Onitsha for intensive care.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe conditions of the victims are stable.\u201d\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Five persons on Friday sustained severe injuries in another building collapse in Onitsha, Anambra State.
