{"id":116515,"date":"2019-05-12T21:22:29","date_gmt":"2019-05-12T20:22:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=116515"},"modified":"2019-05-12T21:35:36","modified_gmt":"2019-05-12T20:35:36","slug":"ekiti-football-stakeholders-drag-state-excos-to-court-over-alleged-impersonation-fraud","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=116515","title":{"rendered":"Ekiti football stakeholders drag State Excos to court over alleged impersonation, fraud"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Court-nullifies-Adamawa-APC-Rep-elect\u2019s-election-gives-reasons.jpg\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Some stakeholders in Ekiti State football have accused some of their colleagues of impersonation.<\/p>\n<p>In a suit filed at an Ado Ekiti Chief Magistrate Court, they also alleged that Chief Ariyo Yomi Amos, Messrs J.I Fatunkasi, Ajibewa, Ibidun Isaac, Aregbesola and Bayo Olanlege of committing acts prejudicial to the smooth running of football activities in the state.<\/p>\n<p>The suit numbered MAD\/24\/2019 was filed through Opeyemi V. Ogunsemi and Company by the plaintiffs, Messrs Segun Adelakun, Olu Ikusemori and Lanre Ajayi.<\/p>\n<p>They were seeking the order of the court to restrain the defendants from further parading themselves as members of the Executives of Ekiti State Football Association.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe plaintiffs are members of the Ekiti State Football Association<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe defendants are suspended executive members of the aforesaid Association. The report of their suspension is also pleaded<\/p>\n<p>\u2018\u201d The defendants continued to parade themselves as executives of the association even after their suspension<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe defendant\u2019s tenure had even naturally terminated by effusion and have started collecting money from the public and members of the association with an account different from that of the association<\/p>\n<p>\u201d That the defendants with the account name, Felix Olanrewaju Adewumi, and account number 2177308853 collected the sum of Seventy Thousand Naira from members of the association.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnless the defendants are restrained by this Honourable Court, they will continue to defraud members of the public by continuously parading themselves as the executive members of the state football association.\u201d\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Some stakeholders in Ekiti State football have accused some of their colleagues of impersonation.
