Former Manchester United goalkeeping coach Frans Hoek, has revealed David de Gea \u201ccould play for Barcelona or Manchester City.\u201d<\/p>\n

De Gea is going through a tough time in the Premier League, but Hoek still considers him to be one of the world\u2019s best
\nThe Spain international has made uncharacteristic errors this season, leading to questions being asked of his mindset.<\/p>\n

The goalkeeper is yet to commit to an extended stay with United, with his current contract due to expire in the summer of 2020.<\/p>\n

A move is now being mooted for the 28-year-old, with PSG considered to be one potential landing spot.<\/p>\n

Hoek, who worked alongside Louis van Gaal during the fellow Dutchman\u2019s time with the Red Devils, said that De Gea is deserving of a role at a leading club.<\/p>\n

\u201cI worked with him for two years at Manchester United and I must say he\u2019s at a really high level,\u201d Hoek told Marca.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not easy to play three games a week as is demanded in England and maintain a high level.<\/p>\n

\u201cParticularly when anyone can beat anyone there. But he does it.<\/p>\n
