Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, has reacted to President Muhammadu Buhari\u2019s nomination of the Central Bank Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, for a second term.<\/p>\n

DAILY POST reports that Buhari on Thursday nominated Emefiele for a second term.<\/p>\n

It was gathered Thursday morning that the President sent a letter nominating the CBN governor for another term to the Senate President in line with the CBN Act.<\/p>\n

The financial expert has been Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria since June 3, 2014.<\/p>\n

Confirming the report to DAILY POST, Saraki\u2019s new media aide, Olu Onemola said, \u201dSenate President just read the letter.\u201dhttps:\/\/dailypost.ng\/2019\/05\/09\/buhari-nominates-cbn-governor-godwin-emefiele-another-term\/<\/p>\n

Reacting, Omokri, who is a staunch critic of Buhari, commended the President\u2019s nomination of Emefiele for a second term.<\/p>\n

According to him, this has shown that Buhari is listening to Nigerians.<\/p>\n

Omokri, on his Twitter page, wrote: \u201cI am a critic of President @MBuhari because I believe he is inept, and tribalistic. However, when he does well, I must commend him.<\/p>\n
