{"id":114194,"date":"2019-05-06T11:21:12","date_gmt":"2019-05-06T10:21:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=114194"},"modified":"2019-05-06T11:21:26","modified_gmt":"2019-05-06T10:21:26","slug":"pastor-adeboye-reveals-what-happened-to-prophet-who-said-he-will-die-in-1998","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=114194","title":{"rendered":"Pastor Adeboye reveals what happened to prophet who said he will die in 1998"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Pastor-Adeboye-reveals-what-happened-to-prophet-who-said-he-will-die-in-1998.jpg\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has recalled how a pastor who belonged to the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) predicted his death in 1998 shortly after the demise of Archbishop Benson Idahosa of the Church of God Mission, Benin City.<\/p>\n<p>According to Adeboye, the PFN pastor was misled by newspaper reports that he had started a bank and so he predicted he would soon be called home like Idahosa.<\/p>\n<p>The RCCG leader stated this while preaching during the weekend at the May edition of the Holy Ghost Night which held at the Redemption Camp.<\/p>\n<p>Adeboye revealed that he was invited by a group of investors who just opened a bank to come and pray before the bank would start operation.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, after prayers, the investors in the bank pleaded with him to open an account with them so he could become the bank\u2019s first customer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen they made that request, I told them I had no money to open with. But the men decided to open the account with their own money which was a sum of N50, 000.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut shortly after the event, newspapers came out with a report that I had started a bank with the sum of N50 million. The news was everywhere,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Adeboye further said that shortly after the newspaper report the leaders of PFN had a meeting.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was in the meeting that the pastor who called himself a prophet stood up and declared that since I had started a bank, that in not too long a time the Lord would call me home the way Archbishop Idahosa was called home. I just kept quiet. I did not say anything, People were urging me to react I refused,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>While noting that the man who gave the evil prophecy about him had long died, he said, \u201chere we are.
