Arsenal manager, Unai Emery has confirmed that striker, Danny Welbeck will leave Emirates at the end of the season.<\/p>\n

Emery said this after Arsenal\u2019s 1-1 draw against Brighton in the Premier League on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Welbeck broke his ankle during Arsenal\u2019s Europa League 0-0 draw against Sporting last year.<\/p>\n

The England international landed awkwardly after leaping in the air to meet a cross just after the half hour mark against Sporting, and needed oxygen before being stretchered off the pitch.<\/p>\n

Speaking on Welbeck, Emery was quoted by Mirror UK as saying after Arsenal\u2019s draw against Brighton: \u201cI spoke with the club and the decision is he is going to leave.<\/p>\n

\u201cWelbeck will become a free agent this summer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Welbeck joined Arsenal from Manchester United in 2014 for \u00a316million.<\/p>\n
