Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri has revealed that Brazilian defender David Luiz, could be staying at the club.<\/p>\n

Luiz has started talks with the club over a new contract.<\/p>\n

The 32-year-old is out of contract this summer.<\/p>\n

Sarri told a press conference ahead Chelsea\u2019s game against Watford on Sunday that, \u201cDavid is a very important player \u2013 also in the dressing room.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople know my opinion. But then there is also the opinion of the player and the club.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I think we can solve this situation in the next couple of weeks. I am confident.<\/p>\n

Sarri also said that young midfielder, Rubben Loftus-Cheek will have to carefully manage his back problems for the rest of his career.
\nThe 23-year-old was totally dominant on Thursday night as the Blues grabbed a 1-1 Europa League semi-final first leg draw at Eintracht Frankfurt.<\/p>\n

However, back problems have hampered the player\u2019s career and kept him out for more than a month this season.<\/p>\n

Sarri said the back pains are not going to go away.<\/p>\n

Sarri added, \u201cI don\u2019t think Ruben will need surgery. We have to control him. He needs probably a particular way of training.<\/p>\n
