<\/p>\nOzil has been an integral part of the framework at the Emirates Stadium for over half a decade, since he joined the club under Arsene Wenger in 2013.<\/p>\n
However, the German has endured a difficult first season under new boss Emery.<\/p>\n
The 30-year-old however has asserted that he wishes to remain with Arsenal and see out the remainder of his current deal, which takes him through until 2021.<\/p>\n
\u201cAbsolutely. I\u2019ve got two more years on my contract. I don\u2019t know after that but I\u2019ve got two years left,\u201d Ozil told Sky Sports when asked if he wanted to stay with the Gunners.<\/p>\n
When asked whether he was happy, he added: \u201cYes. Why not? I\u2019m 30 now, [I\u2019ve} still got years in front of me.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s down to the club as well of course, but I\u2019ve got two years here \u2013 after that I don\u2019t know what happens.\u201d<\/p>\n
The former Real Madrid star admitted that he does have frustrations over how much game-time he gets, but also insisted that he does not have a problem with his manager\u2019s approach.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo [issues with Emery]. Definitely not.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s always speculation, everyone inside knew that our situation is positive.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s frustrating [not playing]. I want to play in every game. Through injury I\u2019ve missed games but that\u2019s football.<\/p>\n
