Ronaldinho said: \u201cWhy can\u2019t Spurs win the Champions League?.<\/p>\n
\u201cBecause they don\u2019t have the history in the competition \u2013 or because they have never won it before?<\/p>\n
\u201cEvery team who has won the Champions League had to win it for the first time once.<\/p>\n
\u201cTheir result against Manchester City, who are one of the best teams and have some of the best players in the competition, showed that they can compete with the best.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt this stage, they will believe they can go all the way \u2013 and if they play as they can then maybe they will.\u201d<\/p>\n
Reacting, Pochettino, in his pre-match press conference on Tuesday ahead of Tottenham\u2019s Champions League quarter-final second leg tie on Wednesday night, said he was going to respect Ronaldinho\u2019s claim.<\/p>\n
\u201cWow \u2013 he [Ronaldinho] knows a lot about football and I am going to respect him,\u201d Pochettino was quoted by 101greatgoals as saying.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe was a great teammate when we played together in PSG \u2013 we spent amazing time together on the pitch, training ground.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn football, all can happen; like in life, you must believe and have trust in yourself and your ability and quality.<\/p>\n
