{"id":107236,"date":"2019-04-14T23:44:09","date_gmt":"2019-04-14T22:44:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=107236"},"modified":"2019-04-14T23:44:51","modified_gmt":"2019-04-14T22:44:51","slug":"ajah-cult-war-in-lagos-claims-four-lives","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=107236","title":{"rendered":"Ajah cult war in Lagos claims four lives"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Four-killed-in-Ajah-cult-war-in-Lagos.jpg\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Four purported cultists were slain during a clash between two rival cult groups of Aiye and Eiye in Ajah area of Lagos State on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>A very reliable source told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that two suspects were arrested by operatives from Police Area \u201cJ\u201d Command, Ajah over the killings.<\/p>\n<p>Sources told NAN that the cult groups had been at logger heads over supremacy in the Sangotedo area of Ajah in recent times.<\/p>\n<p>The suspected cultists used machetes and other dangerous weapons in the fight and inflicted fatal wounds on themselves.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe police recovered four dead bodies and deposited them at the public mortuary. Three cutlesses were also recovered from the suspects.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSecurity has been beefed-up in the area with more patrol policemen deployed.
