{"id":106774,"date":"2019-04-13T09:53:06","date_gmt":"2019-04-13T08:53:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=106774"},"modified":"2019-04-13T10:54:04","modified_gmt":"2019-04-13T09:54:04","slug":"frsc-van-crashes-while-chasing-alleged-traffic-offender-in-ibadan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=106774","title":{"rendered":"FRSC van crashes while chasing alleged traffic offender in Ibadan"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">A Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Hilux van on Friday crashed while pursuing a presumed road traffic offender in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.<\/p>\n<p>The incident occurred along the Oyo-Ibadan Express road.<\/p>\n<p>The Hilux van, with code No. 1139(3) was reported to have had a fatal collision with a Nissan Micra, with registration No. Lagos KSF 831.<\/p>\n<p>Sources at the scene told DAILY POST that scores of sympathisers besieged the scene immediately.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-669811 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/FRSC-van-crashes-while-chasing-alleged-traffic-offender-in-Ibadan-PHOTOS.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\"><\/p>\n<p>Spokesperson of the FRSC in the state, Mr. Oluwaseun Onijala confirmed the incident.<\/p>\n<p>Onijala, who is yet to send full details of the incident to our correspondent, however described it as unfortunate.<\/p>\n<p>The FRSC spokesman said the incident is not only \u201cpathetic but unfortunate\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Onijala added that \u201cthe commission is currently investigating the matter\u201d to ascertain what happened.<\/p>\n<p>He promised to provide full details of the incident as soon as the investigation was concluded.\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Hilux van on Friday crashed while pursuing a presumed road traffic offender in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
