Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan has queried appointment of heads of three intelligence agencies in Nigeria.
Omokri blamed the appointment for the incessant herdsmen killings.
He further accused Buhari of tribalism in appointment, therefore creating an imbalance in intelligence agencies.
He tweeted “There are 3 intelligence agencies in Nigeria, namely DSS, NIA & DIA. Each of them are headed by Northern Muslims. 2 out of the 3 are from the same Katsina state as President Buhari. 1 out of the 3 comes from the President’s hometown. Is there balance in our intelligence agencies?
“With no Christian or Southerner in the top intelligence strata, how can intelligence on issues like killer herdsmen not be biased in favour of those who share religion & ethnicity with the intelligence chiefs? Was Ayo Oke of the NIA set up to make way for a core Northern Muslim?”
