‘Go and fight snake that swallowed N36m’ – Ghanaians insult Buhari for promising to fight corruption

[ad_1]

Ghanaian citizens, particularly social media users have descended on President Muhammadu Buhari over his promise to help Ghana in its fight against corruption.

Buhari had during his visit to Ghana on her 61st Independence Anniversary celebrations, which held at the Independence Square, promised to help the country in its fight against corruption.

His pledge, however, did not go down well with some of the citizens, who wondered why Buhari, whose country was ranked 148th most corrupt country in the world could help Ghana in fighting corruption with his own unending corruption load in Nigeria.

The angry citizens asked the Nigerian president to go and fight a snake that allegedly swallowed 36 million naira ($102,409, the cedis equivalent of over 470,000 cedis from the office of Nigeria’ Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Some of their reactions below.
