Fulani herdsmen: PDP reacts to Gboko attack, asks Buhari to act now

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has called for an immediate action against those responsible for the killing of six Fulanis in Gboko, Benue state.

The incident led to imposition of dusk to dawn curfew by the state government.

The party in a statement by its Spokesman, Kola Ologbondiyan condemned the attacks, while also seeking a quick resolution to security challenges in the State.

Ologbondiya expressing sadness over the situation called on Buhari to rise and act as the Commander-in-Chief.

The statement reads, “The killings of 7 fulani men in Gboko, Benue state stands condemned in the strongest terms possible.

“@MBuhari must address the insecurity challenges. He must rise to the occasion as the C-n-C of this great country.

“My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims.”
