Fayose attacks Buhari over killing of Fulanis

Ayodele Fayose, Governor of Ekiti State, has again criticised President Muhammadu Buhari’s “non-challant attitude” to the killings in various parts of the country.

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Governors Forum said this while condemning the killing of seven Fulanis in Gboko, Benue State.

On Twitter, the governor advised Buhari to act like a nationalist.

Fayose wrote, ”Killing of 7 innocent Fulanis in Gboko, Benue State is condemnable.

”President Buhari’s non-challant attitude towards addressing the killings in Benue and other States by herdsmen is dangerous to the peaceful co-existence of Nigerians.

”Let the President act like a nationalist now!”

The killings led to imposition of a dusk to dawn curfew by the state government.

The government said that the curfew would last from 6pm to 6am from January 31till further notice.
