Ex-WWE star, Grandmaster Sexay is dead

Former WWE wrestling star, Brian Christopher, fondly known by his ring name as Grand Master Sexay has been reported dead.

Brian who was the son of wrestling legend, Jerry “The King,” Lawler was pronounced dead after he attempted to take his life in Hardeman County jail, following his arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol as well as evading arrest, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation told CNN.

However, on arrival at the hospital, the 46-year-old Brian was declared dead after he was examined by the doctors.

“Corrections officers administered CPR until paramedics arrived,Lawler was transported to Regional One Medical Center in Memphis where he died Sunday afternoon.

“At this time, we do not suspect foul play. However, our investigation remains active and ongoing.” TBI said.

However, the WWE in a statement has confirmed the news of his death.

The statement reads: “WWE is saddened to learn that Brian Christopher Lawler, who is best known in WWE as Too Cool’s Grand Master Sexay, has passed away.

“Lawler, who is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler, competed during the height of the Attitude era.

“WWE extends its condolences to Lawler’s family, friends and fans.”

WWE icon, Hulk Hogan joined other wrestlers around the globe in mourning the deceased.

On his Twitter page, he wrote: “RIP Brian Christopher. Thank you for always stealing the show my brother. Only love HH.”
