Ethiopia Airline: Ex-Gov Aregbesola speaks on death of Pius Adesanmi

The immediate past Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has reacted to the death of popular Nigerian columnist and professor, Pius Adesanmi.

Adesanmi was among the 149 passengers and eight crew members involved in the Ethiopian Airline plane crash.

DAILY POST had reported that the airline announced that there were no survivors on its flight ET302 which crashed on Sunday en route Nairobi from Addis Ababa.

“None of the people on board the Boeing 737 that crashed en route from Addis Ababa to Nairobi survived,” the airline had said.

Reacting, Aregbesola, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, expressed shock over the development, stressing that the world has lost an excellent human being.

“My condolences also go to the academic community on this very sad day.

“May God rest his soul.”
