Former Arsenal midfielder, Paul Merson has predicted that the Gunners will run away as 2-1 winners when they clash with Newcastle United in Saturday’s Premier League fixtures.
Merson expects Unai Emery’s men to defeat the Magpies this weekend.
Arsenal head to the game following a 3-2 victory against Cardiff City in their last EPL fixture.
Newcastle, on the other hand, were defeated 2-1 against Manchester City in their last EPL encounter.
“Newcastle can’t be relied on to have a go against the big teams. They won’t create a million chances against the Gunners and Arsenal will create plenty,” Merson told Sky Sports.
“Newcastle will sit back and Arsenal will break them down at some point.”
