EPL: Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling warns Liverpool

Manchester City forward, Raheem Sterling has issued out warning to his former club, Liverpool that Pep Guardiola’s side can beat any club in the Premier League.

Sterling stated this ahead of Man City’s Premier League clash with Jurgen Klopp’s men on Thursday night at the Etihad Stadium.

City are currently 7 points behind Liverpool on the Premier League table.

“If we can play Liverpool the way we know we can play, we can beat anyone,” Sterling was quoted by Metro UK as saying.

“It’s going to be a great game on Thursday against Liverpool and we’re all looking forward to it.”

Sterling added: “It was massive to win against Southampton and we knew we had to win to give ourselves a chance in the race for the Premier League title.

“It’s a massive step and just what we needed. “We had two poor games and we knew we needed to win to give ourselves a chance and we did just that.

“Our previous two results were difficult to take and I thought we bounced back brilliantly.

“I think we owed it to ourselves and as a team to bring that level we know we can bring.”
