Dele Momodu reacts to Buhari, Obasanjo’s meeting at AU Summit

Media mogul, Dele Momodu, has reacted to meeting of President Muhammadu Buhari and former president Olusegun Obasanjo at the African Union (AU) Summit over the weekend.

On Sunday night, the official Twitter account of President Buhari shared pictures and a video of him shaking hands with Obasanjo.

Buhari was seen giggling and chatting with Obasanjo and another former Head of State, Abdulsalami Abubakar. This comes few days after Obasanjo wrote a lengthy memo to Buhari, warning him not to stand for re-election next year.

However, in Momodu’s opinion, that does not necessarily mean they were now enemies.

He posted an image of the two men and wrote alongside it on social media: “Criticising a man does not mean you’re enemies!!!”
