Champions League draw: Why Juventus, Ronaldo shouldn’t underestimate us – Ajax midfielder, De Jong

Ajax midfielder, Frenkie de Jong has warned Juventus not to underestimate them when both sides clash in the Champions League quarter-final stage next month.

The 21-year-old also said that it will be fun facing Juventus star, Cristiano Ronaldo in the Champions League last eight.

De Jong said this while reacting to his side’s Champions League quarter-final draw with Juventus.

DAILY POST recalls that Ajax were drawn with the Serie A champions when the draw for the quarter-finals took place in Nyon on Friday.

Frenkie de Jong said: “Juventus might be happy with this draw but if they watched us in the Champions League they shouldn’t underestimate us.

“Facing Ronaldo? It’s fun to face him. When I was still playing in the youth teams, he and Messi were already having amazing stats,” De Jong was quoted by Fox Sports as saying.
