Buhari vs Atiku: Police warns Abuja residents over election result celebration

The Police Command in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has warned Abuja residents to be considerate in their celebration of recent election victory.

Spokesman of the command, DSP Anjuguri Manzah gave the warning in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja, NAN reports.

Manzah said the residents should eschew any act that could infringe on the rights of other citizens.

He reassured residents of adequate security measures to forestall the breakdown of law and order.

Manzah said that the territory was calm and peaceful and further enjoined residents to collaborate with the police to maintain the current peaceful atmosphere.
