BREAKING: Court sends ex-Kaduna governor to prison

Ramalan Yero, a former Governor of Kaduna State, has been remanded in prison by a Federal High Court sitting in Kaduna.

Justice Muhammed Shuibu, on Thursday ordered that Yero be remanded in prison, pending the hearing of his bail application.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, had arraigned Yero and three others on a four count charge of money laundering and bribery.

After ordering Yero’s remand, Shuibu adjourned the case to 6th June, 2018 for hearing on bail application.
