Lionel Messi scored a brilliant free-kick late on, as Barcelona came from behind to defeat Alaves and maintain their unbeaten start to LaLiga.

Philippe Coutinho made his full debut for the Catalans, while Lucas Digne was handed a rare start in the league.

John Guidetti gave the visitors the lead in the first half, finishing off a swift counter-attack.

However, they could not hang on in the second half, as Luis Suarez equalized for Barca, before Messi’s magic.

Barcelona now have 57 points, 11 more than second-placed Atletico Madrid. Real Madrid remain fourth with 38 points.
