Security operatives stationed some 2km away from Dapchi in Busari local government area of Yobe State have denied entry to reporters into the town where the released abducted school girls are being profiled by the military.

The security operatives said they were acting on orders not to allow media into Dapchi.

However, some of the reporters who spoke with residents on phone said there was jubilation as they welcomed their daughters home.

One of the girls released was said to have informed her father that her friend could not be released because she refused to get converted.

According to the girls, the insurgents told the girl that since she could not renounce her faith, she was going to remain with them until she had a change of heart.
