2019: Nigeria bigger than your ambition – GPN tells Buhari

National chairman of the Green Party of Nigeria, GPN, Chief Sam Ike has pleaded with President Muhammadu Buhari to toe the path of honour and bury his presidential ambition, as Nigeria is bigger than his quest to govern the country beyond 2019.

Ike exclusively told DAILY POST in Bauchi that the All Progressives Congress, APC-led administration lacks the political will to take the nation to the promised land, attributing same to their lack of capacity to attracts meaningful development.

He described the Buhari administration as the worst, and a waste of mandate by Nigerians.

“There is nothing tangible APC has done to vindicate themselves after claiming to heel the wounds of Nigerians if voted into power. However, we are only having collapsed system apart from poverty and hunger,” he said.

According to Ike, Nigerians should no longer be deceived by the antics of the agents of APC ahead of the 2019 elections, pointing out that only credible persons should be voted into power.

He regretted that it is only under APC administration where courts orders are fragrantly disobeyed by the executives, who the politician accused of operating outside Nigeria’s constitution

The GPN chief pointed out that the country is gradually descending into anarchy following the incessant killings in some parts of the country without the APC-led administration coming up with solutions.

He maintained that the GPN is the only means of putting the nation on the right track, assuring that the party will soon unveil its presidential candidate.

Ike called on the people of Bauchi state to vote for former governor, Isa Yuguda under the GPN, as the senatorial bye election draws nearer.
