Alhaji Lawal Garba, the National Chairman, Forum of Patriotic APC Members, on Wednesday, said the party will again in 2019.

The kinsman of President Muhammadu Buhari also expressed confidence in the ability of Sen. Bola Tinubu reconciliation committee to make the party stronger and more united at the end of its assignment.

“Asiwaju Bola Tinibu is capable of reconciling aggrieved members considering his political clout and commitment to the ideals of the party,” Garba told NAN in Daura, Katsina State.

He noted that agreements and disagreements were common futures of politics and appealed to aggrieved party members should sheath their swords and embrace the reconciliation move initiated by the president.

According to him, in spite of the internal wrangling, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has maintained its link with majority of the electorates.

“The mass of the electorate are still with us and they will vote for the party again in 2019.

“The three years of APC as the ruling party have been eventful, innovative, creative and inventive; the party has transformed various sectors of the economy.

“It has championed the ongoing anti corruption crusade, agricultural revolution and promotion of security nationwide.

“Theses are what we want the party to consolidate after the 2019 elections,” Garba, a former member of the House of Representatives said.
