President Muhammadu Buhari has officially received former PDP national chairman, Adamu Mu’azu, former governor Isa Yuguda, Senator Babayo Garba Gamawa, former PDP deputy National Chairman North, alongside 15 others from PDP and NNPP to the APC fold.

This was just as Buhari vowed that the APC administration will not spare corrupt politicians in its bid to rescue the nation’s harsh economy caused by PDP’s 16 years alleged misrule.

He stated this on Saturday in Bauchi when he officially received Adamu Mu’azu, Isa Yuguda, Babayo Garba Gamawa to APC

Others are Kaulaha Aliyu, Dr Musa Babayo, Mahmoud Ahmad Yayale, Ambassador Adamu Jumba and Senator Maikafi, the defeated NNPP guber aspirant, among others.

“I am happy to be here in Bauchi my strong political hold to receive PDP and NNPP defectors to our great party APC especially as we approach the general elections. However, the defectors’ decision is timely and a watershed to APC victory, ” Buhari said.

He stressed that if voted in 2019, his administration will ensure equal justice to all categories of Nigerians.

The President said the federal government will not relent in its genuine commitment to consolidate on the gains of democracy if voted again.

He vowed not to spare corrupt politicians especially those that plundered the nation’s economy to their personal use.

Buhari stressed that he contested the presidency four times and finally won in 2015, and is determined to erase corruption from Nigeria.

“All I have in mind before being military President and after joining politics is to get rid of corruption,” Buhari said, as he urged the defectors to support APC during the general elections.
